Milan

Starting with a tour of Piazza Duomo and its namesake Cathedral (which offers visitors a panoramic view of the city from its roof); followed by a visit to the Vittorio Emanuele II Gallery which connects to Piazza Scala (where the famous La Scala opera house sits) and continuing on towards the Brera area and its celebrated Pinacoteca museum. From here the tour continues with a visit of the Sforzesco Castle and Sempione Park, and concludes with a stop at the two most important churches in the city: that of Santa Maria delle Grazie (which houses da Vinci’s Last Supper) and the Basilica di Sant’Ambrogio.

BERGAMO

From Piazza Matteotti, the heart of Lower Bergamo, the tour starts off with the discovery of one of the most important city-centres in Lombardy. Continuing with a visit to Upper Bergamo, which is surrounded by a gigantic wall, then leaving from Piazza Vecchia the tour continues with a visit of the Colleoni Chapel, the Santa Maria Maggiore Church, the Gombito Tower and finally the Palazzo della Ragione. For those who want, there is the possibility to purchase food products typical of this region.

COMO

Among the most elegant of places in Lombardy, the tour of the city and its lake start off from the Piazza Duomo with entrance into the Cathedral. Also worth visiting are the Churches of San Fedele and that of Sant’Abbondio. Then taking either a public or private boat the tour will continue on with its discovery of the lake: first stop, the city of Bellagio, the pearl of Lake Como with its many magnificent villas; following is a short visit to Tramezzo, which includes a visit to the Villa Carlotta museum and the botanical gardens. Then the boat will make a stop in the city of Cernobbio to visit the Villa d’Este. From here the tour returns to Como by car, making a stop at the famous silk outlet stores of Como.

LAKE MAGGIORE

The first stop on this tour is the city of Stresa, which includes an excursion aimed at the discovery of this prestigious little city and its famous lake walk where one can see the Ducale Villa and the Pallavicini Villa. From Piazza Marconi the excursion continues by boat for a visit to Bella Island (Isola Bella) and its Borromeo Palazzo, made famous for its gardens, Maggiore Island (Isola Maggiore) and then on to Fishermens Island (Isola Pescatori). The excursion will also include a brief stop in Verbania before heading back to Stresa by boat.

Lake Garda

The first planned stop for this visit is the walled city of Peschiera del Garda. From here the tour goes on to the city of Sirmione, famous for its spas, with a visit to the Scaligera Fortress and the Catullo Grotto. To conclude this tour a stop is made in the glamorous lake-side city of Desenzano del Garda.

VERONA

The tour of this famous city starts with the must-see visit to the celebrated Arena, which today serves as an opera house. Followed by a visit to the house of Romeo and Juliet and then continuing onto the city’s cultural and economic heart: Piazza delle Erbe. Also not to be missed is a visit to the Corsari Gate, the Scaligero Bridge and finally the S. Zeno Catherdral.

VENICE

The tour of this city starts from Piazza Roma where one can view the famous Venetian canals which flow pass the famous Sospiri Bridge; then crossing the Canal Grande the tour arrives at Piazza San Marco where it is possible to visit the Basilica of San Marco and its bell-tower. From here the tour will take a boat to Murano Island, which is world-famous for its glass-making, and then on to the lace workshops of Burano.
